I got my first one in high school but I ended up chipping a tooth. It still worked but I didn't like the look so I ordered a new one. A little reddish brown, but otherwise the same. Apparently durable, it's also smooth so it won't scratch the scalp, and the teeth are well spaced - just enough to detangle hair without unnecessarily pulling. This is my handbag-sized comb. There is something special about home-made combs – they simply take better care of your hair. This brand is particularly good. I always carry one with me and give it away as gifts - always get great reviews. I use each comb for years - until I accidentally leave it in a hotel room, ugh! - but they never seem to wear out. I will definitely stick with this brand. It's worth it!

I like the size (4.5 x 10.5 cm) and shape of this model. Bought several of this brand for myself and as gifts. I think this one is best for straight or slightly wavy hair.
