I recently started making paper. I wanted to make an Easter card and I saw this one. They worked great with my Sizzix BigShot. Filigree cut clean. I have to say my parents were impressed when they received the card. They had a hard time believing I made the eggs because they looked so professional.

I ordered this self-service die set for my Easter cards and I love the design and how easy and clean it is to cut out. I have other egg cubes that I want to use for layering and stroking as this one will be my centerpiece. I also like that this kit allows you to emboss the image without cutting the paper if you want to use a larger sheet of paper (to cover the front of the card, etc.). Or you can use this with a simple egg punch for a different color combination. /Possibility.

I made these as Easter souvenirs and also sent them out in Easter cards. I made 2 white egg shapes but cut one in half and glued them together. Then I made a filigree piece in different pastel colors and glued it to the side of the egg all around. I made a small hole at the top and added a matching ribbon loop. I was looking for a cube for my Easter cards this year and decided on this one. It cuts very sharp edges and the paper easily detaches from the matrix. I don't have to use wax paper between the paper and the stamp like I often do with intricate cutouts. I love that you can cut out the filigree shape and use it as a standalone centerpiece, or cut it out of the card (as transparent) at the very front. The hard egg is also versatile.
