Didn't work for me - my new review

When walking on wet grass, water will seep through your shoes and your feet will immediately get wet. My feet were already wet before I got to the SUV to tow the boat.

Pros
  • Fits perfectly!
Cons
  • Size can be an issue. Some customers have reported that the Sperry Men's Mainstay Sneaker is slightly smaller than expected, which can lead to complaints and the need to return or exchange shoes.

The best I had in my rating

I usually take a size 10 but had to order a 10.5 as I feel like they don't cut much where you put your foot in. I wear them for a few days and love them. They are light and very comfortable. It took my foot a few days to get used to them and now I just want to wear them.

Pros
  • Great shoes
Cons
  • Limited color options. While the black version of the Sperry Mainstay men's sneaker looks great and can be versatile, customers who prefer more variety in their footwear collection might be disappointed with the limited color options for this particular sneaker.

Finally some water shadows

Beat water running shoes ever. He loves her and his feet are very sensitive. He says they feel a lot better than regular water shoes.

Pros
  • These are great fishing/boating shoes. The boat was unmarked and dried out fairly quickly when wet. Highly recommended.
Cons
  • Great idea..... Too tight. Also, the bottom pad twists and folds under the foot.... So it becomes very uncomfortable.

NOT for sailing! matches trendy sneakers

I bought these shoes for swimming on 25ft coasters and after a few tries they just don't do the job. Shoes. Wearing them barefoot is a direct route to hot and tired feet. Also, the clutch is ridiculous and I slipped while reefing the mainsail and doing other deck work - not cool. I would say these are "water shoes" and can be great for kayaking or small boats where you would expect. wet (they will drain well) but for inshore sailing they are very disappointing. My search for great sailing shoes

Pros
  • rubber sole
Cons
  • empty

Sperry, where has the quality gone?

Wow, I've traveled a bit, with no wind and with a storm. I'm better than I've been in all 10 years of using my trusty old Sperry Topider. I decided to give lace-ups a try, so I bought two pairs of Sperry shoes, knowing I had a brand I could rely on. I bought Sperry H2O "Mainstay" and H2O "Skiff" lace-up "water shoes" and "sneakers" respectively. The price was what I expected for a quality product from Sperry. What I received wasn't what I expected. Imagine my surprise when I saw where they are…

Pros
  • A molded TPU cage, an integrated 360Β° lacing system and an elastic boot construction provide a dynamic and secure fit.
Cons
  • The impression is negative
