NOT FOR SNIPPING *CRACKED*

bought 1 for aluminum milling as my 1/8th end mill has 2 flutes and I can't push the spindle through the material fast enough. Before I started the project, I bought a second one. While waiting for the second to arrive, I changed the CAM settings to something better suited to a single flute, and just inches before making contact with the material, it broke. So I backed out WAYYYYY after getting a second similar *click* (0.02mm DOC @ 300mm/m 40% incline). I find the groove depth too aggressive…

Quite excellent for its price!

This drill is ideal for aluminum machining. Especially if you are working with amateur CNC. You can run it a little faster but still keep the depth of cut at around 0.001 inch when you start out. Great drill and value. I would buy it again.

Cuts and engraves ABS sheet very cleanly - short life but worth it.

Unfortunately they have a short lifespan. I had a few sheets of 0.25" x 24" x 24" ABS sheet for character engraving on my CNC machine, I tried a few different bits from different manufacturers. They all technically worked but left that way lots of melted shards of plastic at the bottom of the letters, each of which I spent about an hour cleaning up with a 1/8" chisel. The result was signs with a smooth underside of the letters without melting. I had to do about 2 .5 hours of cutting on a CNC…
