Top quality product at knockout price

This U-Hinge was worth every bit of what I paid for it. It is of excellent quality and ideal for the application it is used for. It looks like it will last over 200,000 miles more than the other one it replaces.

The quality was bad for Dana.

Ordered two to replace my 2009 Super Duty 4x4. An oiler snapped halfway into the gimbal. The other one didn't seat properly (with a press) to get the locking ring. I sent these back and ordered two more. Dana usually has great products. Hope it was an isolated case.

Original hinge for Dana 60

Great product, fits my 01 Dodge Ram 2500 Dana 60. However, one hinge was short, 2 snap rings and the other had 1 extra snap ring. I ended up having to reuse one of the old ones, which worked, but I didn't like it. It took a lot of effort to disassemble my front end, only one retaining ring was short and the old one had to be recycled.

Circlips are not suitable

I ordered two crosses and one only had 3 circlips. To make matters worse, all 7 locking rings have not gone through the hardening process or are Chinese fakes. Retaining rings are almost as soft as aluminum and will deform severely when lightly tapped with a brass punch. I've never seen a brass stamp make a dent in the steel so something is wrong with them.

Looks like recycled junk.

There are many dents on the shells and the needle bearings don't feel smooth when I turn my hand. It appears to be made from a hodgepodge of used, inferior quality parts. Not what we expected from this brand. The documentation that came with them states that they are designed for light and medium duty conditions. Do a little research and don't buy these poorly made crosses. My almost 20 year old non-worker is rusty, your joints appear smoother and tighter than these. rubbish in my opinion.

They will fit the Front Outer Short Axle on a 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty manufactured after March 22, 1999 I have Moog U-joints (lubricated) at this point and they worked fine. I broke one of the greases when replacing the outer short shaft. (Remove the supports before starting work on the gimbal). Affordable fittings Zerk

The U-joints were ok and the delivery was on time. My only issue is the included Zerk fitting. It's pretty low quality steel, I had to order a replacement U-joint because 1st somehow felt it was the wrong thread pattern, the fitting broke when I tightened it. I couldn't extract it with an extractor because the material literally turned into a soft metal like brass. I ordered the 2nd and scored through my own fault, but the same thing happened with the 2nd, even when I installed it before…
