Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

We have been using Splat dental floss for more than one year. Having tried a large number of threads from various manufacturers, we chose Splat. When wet, it increases in diameter, thereby contributing to a better cleansing of the interdental space. Here the price is lower than in pharmacies. I definitely recommend.

The thread does become thicker during use. And this is not bad: the thread cleans out small food debris well, for example, from shortbread cookies. It is unrealistic to injure the gum with such a thread - it is very soft due to its thickness. A sort of mini-rope.   • The thread itself is very soft, consists of individual fibers, but strong - I partially break only where there is a sharp edge between two teeth. But in this place, all the threads are torn decisively. Splat is easy to use. The filament case can be easily disassembled if required.
Cons
  • The only point that is useful to keep in mind is that it will not work to get such a thread into a narrow gap between the gum and the tooth - I keep another thread for this case. But perhaps this is not for you.
