For connecting 1 DirecTV Mini to 2 TVs in 2 separate rooms. Works when he wants. I usually have to disconnect and reconnect if I want to watch another TV, then it works until I want to switch TVs. I would happily buy again with confidence. Thank you.

This is a great tool to split an HDMI input into 2 outputs. I use it to separate a 54" TV and a 26" TV from a cable box. I work great for that. A 5V DC power adapter is required for operation. In order to drive such large devices, an amplifier must be installed. from limited input. It turned out to be a very reliable device. I like the compact design. Comes with a short HDMI cable and power adapter.

I have a Fire Stick connected to a TV and a splitter to connect the cable box to 2 screens. Not sure why, but the splitter causes both of my TVs to lag when I turn on the TV and when I switch inputs, and one of the monitors I connected it to lags a bit longer than the other, but differently as what is fine works and does what it is supposed to. Overall I think it's good value for money.

Bought for work to share our computer picture with 2 TVs we have. We also sometimes use it for movies and games. There are occasional picture quality issues, but we think this is due to a TV being older and the HDMI connection dropping out. I was able to set it up in seconds and it does everything I could ask for. I bought a longer cable than the one that came with it, but if you're going to place the splitter close to the devices you want to power, you probably won't need a longer cable.

The splitter seems to work fine when I connect it to the cable box and to the TV. 1080i But when I connect a second HDMI output to my DVR, the TV stops and then shows 720p in the status bar. I bought this to split the output of the Tivo box to 2 different TVs. The picture is excellent on both televisions, with no loss of quality. It's cheaper than paying the cable giant every month for a separate box that I don't use year-round. I would recommend it for any TV, video game or security camera where you need 2 screens but only have one output.
