Spornette Prego Round Brush 270 Review

This is my third Spornette Prego 2.5 270 wheel brush. Each has lasted me years and years. Since my hair is thick and long and I use it a lot throughout the day, the handle eventually breaks after a few years. I still keep part of the brush because it fits in some handbags and in the glove compartment of my car. I love how the brush penetrates the scalp, never gets hot from the blow dryer, and is easy to clean after each comb. I don't know what I would do if Spornette stopped making them!

Ultimately I brought this back for the 3 inch Spornette Ion Fusion Aerated Hairbrush. Problem A was my mistake in assuming the diameter measurement was only for the stem but included the bristles. It ended up being a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Issue B is a design flaw as this brush does not have a plastic cap - the body and top/end of the body are all metal so it gets very hot when used with a hair dryer. I usually touch the comb when blow drying my hair so it's useless. Ion Fusion

great for short hair! I really like this new round brush I just bought. The barrel is small enough to wrap, blow out, and curl your hair a bit, but not so small that it's useless. I previously bought a smaller round brush and found it difficult to use it to blow dry and style my hair at the same time. I take great care of the round brush I use to blow dry my hair. I know I like the 2.5 inch barrel so based on the description I ordered this brush. When I received it I knew something was wrong. The barrel was only 2 inches instead of the advertised 2.5 inches. I am very disappointed and although this is a Revain Prime item, the website says it is non-refundable. It was a lot of money spent on a falsely advertised comb that doesn't work to style my hair the way I normally do.
