Boating Towable Tube: Airhead Super Mable for 1-3 Riders - Orange, Red, Yellow Review

All handles fall apart and foam leaks out in less than 2 years and less than 50 hours of use. They must have used a very cheap material for this.

I bought the Super Mable in May 2018. After the summer I blew out the air and left it for the winter. We just took it out to inflate over the summer and all the straps fell apart and rotted. I paid $300 for this tube a year ago! I think this product will last more than one season. We are now afraid to take our children to the lake, otherwise it could erupt and they drown. We are very disappointed.

The handset failed after a month of infrequent use. The inflated body exploded into a round ball. The seat now sticks out of the tube centered at the top and bottom, rendering it completely unusable. Being round, it is now unstable and cannot be towed. I have no idea what happened. One day everything was fine, and the next the balloon burst. I tried to make a warranty claim but the company is not responding.

Not particularly impressed with durability. We used it twice last year and 7-8 times this year. We never leave it in the sun when not in use and take great care not to over-inflate it. The inner bladder ruptured and gradually lost its shape, now it looks more like a football bladder. Customer service told us that if they get a batch of parts (which doesn't help us this year) we can buy a cylinder in December/January. Stability is lost and it is dangerous to use. We tested this tube, 4 women, 3 tall men ride at the same time. It's also big enough and comfortable to pull 5-6 little kids at a time. I lie on it for hours and drink cocktails. On the first ride one of the handrails broke but the user didn't want to let go of it, it was a very easy fix. If you keep it out of the sun when not in use, it will last a long time. This snorkel is great! We had a Super Mable a few years ago but this one was much better. It sleeps 3 people but we only had 2 adults and it pulled us great! It is stable enough to pull even small children. The back didn't seem to sag back as I recall, the other did. It really is like a tube on a love seat or couch!
