square dowels of excellent quality. It's hard to get 1/2" square dowels that long and I was a little nervous about the price, but I wasn't disappointed. Each dowel is flawless and straight. They are excellent for custom frames and internal corner supports for handcrafted wooden crates.

I bought these to make a log bird house and they did a great job. It turned out great, I painted and varnished the wood. It has a tin roof. The only thing that concerns these rods now is the price. Immediately after I bought them, the price went up. This makes the cost of bird feeders too high so I will find another supplier although I like them.

I am planning a wedding and would like to use these wooden dowels to make centerpieces. They came in very good packaging. The price will be better if you buy in bulk. All the dowels are clean and in good condition. I use Tidebond to glue them together. The results were amazing. I can't wait to paint it and make it look like an $80 vase.

Bought a very nice shelf/stand. The only problem was there was nothing on the back of each shelf to prevent small items from colliding. So I bought her. Cut two to length, sand, paint and varnish. Then I used some Loctite and some C clips to hold them in place overnight. Tomorrow comes. the task is solved. They were exactly what I needed. Very happy. They even look like they are part of the original stand.

The dowels are strong and fit well for the project I need them for (the shelf self-reinforces from below so they don't show up in the finished product). But about half of the bars arrived deformed (2 of them are unusable). If you need to make sure your dowels are the right ones for your project, I would recommend getting them in person at a craft store or hardware store. to ensure you get the quality you need.

These square wooden sticks are beautiful, well made and smooth to the touch. I ordered a 1/2" x 48" long pack of 10. Two dowels made 1.5 lanterns with some wasted material. Very good quality wood and quite strong, but straightness is a big problem. I bought 3 bundles of 1/2" x 36" dowels (60 total) and only 5 of them were straight all the way. Another 19 were about 24 inches long, 32 were about 12-16 inches long, and 4 were fully bent end to end.
