just what I needed for my dwarf hamster friend's house. Multiple pieces allow you to customize them as needed. The Niteangel brand has been good for our Hummy friends

I received the package quickly but it didn't arrive with the wing nuts. The bolts used are slightly smaller than the standard bolts used on other platforms, so smaller wing nut bolts must be found to fit.

DO NOT buy they are not thick enough for any joist frame. I have a Critter Nation and these things are so flimsy they just fall through the gap between the bars.

I bought this set this morning so I'm giving it a 10 for shipping. It arrived this afternoon. However, not all parts were included. It's missing three rotating pieces to attach the tabs to my cage. I have to go to Home Depot to buy them tomorrow so this is disappointing.

I was very happy to get this item for my chinchilla. It was very easy to install in her cage. The only problem is that the large bar was split in two when I received it and the bars aren't very strong either. I had to try to re-glue the large bar but it didn't work. Needless to say, due to these issues, there is currently only one edge in the cage and I cannot risk my child getting hurt. Will have to buy elsewhere.

This kit is smaller than it looks. The wood is a little flimsy and when I attached it to the cage the wood moved as my chinchilla jumped on it and slid between the wires making the shelves uneven. The corner hole is mostly tight, but he still uses it to the full. I might just need a bigger set once he's done with it. I don't recommend it for chinchillas, but maybe for smaller rodents. It's like wearing a small shirt when you need a medium one.

This product is a mixed bag if you want to use it for chinchillas. The L-shaped protrusion is fine, but the paddle protrusions and square protrusion only have one pin to connect to the cage and are incredibly thin. In a chinchilla cage they just slip through when you try to attach them. Even when I was able to fix it, the square platform tilted every time he jumped on it.
