Slipperier than Supercork. kind of plush.

More slippery than super cork. It has a soft feel but has little road cushioning and subpar grip compared to others I've used.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Low repairability

this band is amazing.

I've been a cyclist for 40 years and have owned a shop for 8 years, this tape is fantastic. Suede in the handle is non-slip and comfortable. This summer I traveled through the Alps with this cassette and will never buy another cassette.

Pros
  • Easy to use

High quality bling and comfort

Very comfortable and attractive cape for the bar. Before that I had a Super Sticky Kush Tape. Super Sticky Kush is twice the price and doesn't have the luxurious convenience of SRAM Super Swede bar tape. I highly recommend this wonderful tape!

GREAT price for durable and grippy tape

I also used their Super Cork tape. The cork is better at dampening vibrations, but this suede offers significantly more feedback (especially on fast corners in slippery or less than ideal conditions). The tape is also very stretchy and very easy to wrap evenly around the handlebars.

Pros
  • Decent performance

Grr I hate these logos.

Cons: - Gets dirty quickly and stays dirty (I bought neon green) - SRAM logo is annoying. I really wish companies would stop doing this. Pros: - Installation was easy. The material stretches well and the included glue seems to hold up very well, even if you made some packaging mistakes and had to rewind and unwind multiple times. - Good feeling. Not as nice as cork or leather, but still not bad. Inexpensive.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

Very happy with this tape.

It was easy to put on, stretchy and re-attachable. The SuperSuede feels nice (good softness and thickness) and gives the bike a fresh new look. The tape immediately attracted attention on the streets. Highly recommended. To secure the ends, I used electrical tape of the appropriate color. There is too much logo on the attached materials. Bike: 2012 Jamis Sputnik (grey) with Vintage Drop handlebars, 26mm x 440mm.

Pros
  • Sleek and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great wearing comfort with and without gloves

Even in the rain. I found it easy to wrap, forgiving of mistakes, and has plenty leftover (if you had to cut off a piece for the underside of the brake levers). I was a little apprehensive about ordering white as it seems to attract street grime and flats alike. But it's easy to keep clean: just pour some dish soap into a bowl of warm water and scrub with a soft toothbrush, then pat dry with a clean towel. Brilliant white again in no time at all.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

I love this tape! - Cycling

It's a good band. I was skeptical at first because I usually use LS tape or Arundell tape. This material has a great worn feel. Not sticky. Just a worn out feel that I like. Goes easy and the only thing not included in this kit is two pieces of bonnet tape to easily hide the hard to wrap exposed area on the shifters/brakes. Otherwise it's a great tape. Connectors don't get lost like most other brands. It has butt plugs with multiple ribs for hooking the incoming tape.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
