Great Feels best in standard balls

If you're looking for a ball that's a mix of ProV1 and ChromeSoft, this might be worth a try. I've been using the Srixon for years and this model seems to offer solid control (as best I can), good range (about 5-10 yards less than the Pro V) and decent spin. Usually also at a reduced price!

Long aim and soft feel around the green.

Long and soft, that's what everyone says. Haven't tried these Q-Star Version 3 tours but I've played Q-Star balls regularly and really enjoyed them. Based on the rebound, stats, and looks of these balls, I can't wait to try them. Unfortunately, the weather here is already cold. I want to play with them when it's warm, so I took the time to get them ready to use. The decals are from Golfdotz and after application I paint the surface with a glossy clear polyacrylic. Makes identifying your balls…

Different sockets make a dozen, but a great ball

Don't mind the ball. I prefer this 3-piece Callaway Diablo Tour Ball, but there's something about the urethane finish that makes a difference in feel and spin for me. If you're trying to move off two-piece balls to see if they matter, and you know you're not losing balls as often anymore, do it. Remember that with the purchase you will not receive a real box of Srixon Q-Star, but different cases to make a dozen. so I have two sleeve 3's and two sleeve 4's. This honesty has annoyed me when I've…

BUYER NOTE - Does not ship the claimed "long " distance

I am a Srixon fan. I usually play Srixon Q Stars. When I read about the NEW Series 3 Q Star Tour I immediately ordered a dozen. The GOOD news is that they feel noticeably softer (as advertised) than previous models and you can hit them straight (as advertised) and high (as advertised). The BAD news is that you get these benefits at the cost of LOSS OF DISTANCE. my proof? They arrived yesterday and I went out to play skeeter with their nemesis. We both shoot 80s but he's usually 1-3 shots ahead…

Long story but I'm very happy

Long story: A few weeks ago I came to OB and found a Srixon Q-Star tour in the area that wasn't mine. I dropped it and used it for the rest of the round. Very soft feel, clearance was good and it turned as expected. I went back to my regular ball, which I loved and still love, but every once in a while I'd take this Shrikson out of my bag and play two holes with it. That smooth feeling kept bringing me back to the beat. Well I lost it in the pond due to a lucky shot - LOL! - that the wind blew…
