📏 STABILA 3185 Layout Laser with 5-Point Feature for Enhanced Precision Review

We have 6 different lasers, some smaller and some bigger. I bought this one because we have the same one but with a red beam and I wanted this one because you can see the beam from the outside. We tried it on the outside and stitching with limited use so it worked well.

I have been using Stabilla products for many years and this is the first time I have been disappointed. I took the laser with green lines because they should be more visible, but indoors the lines are almost invisible and if you need it in daylight you can just forget about it. I have a cheap red line from Dewalt that works 10x better. Huge waist of money!

Stabila has been a trusted brand for many years. You pay for it, but you get the highest German quality. This gauge is made in China, I have nothing against Chinese products but for those who wanted a German instrument and got a Chinese one instead this is a disappointment. Now Stabila has become another label for a Chinese generic drug. It works, the green laser is clearly visible, in time I'll see if the thing holds up.
