You can even do it with your hands

If you have a small area, you can do it with your hands. Just make sure everything is wet. I've used them both with a random orbital air tool and by hand. As others have said there is a "breaking in period" where they feel really smooth. As soon as you encounter a diamond grit, you feel it being ground.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Not fashionable

Good quality for body repair tools

These pads hold up better than others I've used. Bought 2 packs of 200 mesh. I was able to polish the entire kitchen countertop (approx 28 square feet) and only used about half a pad considering it was a very minimal amount of sanding. I still thought it was good quality

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • There are new competitors

A good product! best tool for body repair

Pretty good washer. Used it to polish concrete headstones. Did the job I was hoping for. For concrete, they consider a reasonable amount of polishing. If you use glass in your mix, it will wear out quicker, but that's to be expected. With glass it is much more difficult to get a clean polished surface. But these drives work fine.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Domed plastic disc

This is a pretty tough polymer and when it ended up in the cup shape in the middle I realized I could never get a consistent surface finish. Were they stored incorrectly? Returned for a full refund. To update. I ordered two different sizes and the hard plastic they are made of was warped and cupped on both. For a high-quality polish, the discs must be flat. Attached only with Velcro, there's nothing holding these hard plastic drives in place.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Guard

50 grit well done

I don't know much about this but I work on a concrete coffee table. Running water on the surface with a random orbital sander (probably unsafe as it's not waterproof) this thing whipped up 6 day old concrete at 5,000psi very quickly which caused me to aggregate fairly easily. Most of the feed remains. If anything, my only complaint would be that it fits too snugly on my velcro mount and requires a flathead screwdriver to remove.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • -
