Film peels off in my review

As soon as it was washed with hot water, the color film lifted and peeled off. Good weights, nice and light to allow heat transfer, and heavy enough to be sturdy. Definitely 10/10.. I now have a silver shaker tin

That antique copper color is awesome! Feel like a professional bartender in my own kitchen! Lol. It's a worthy product!

Easily scratched - my new review

Bought 9 of them and they all seal differently. Slight variations make it not 100% functional. After just one use they scratch and look like have been used for months.

  • I like the shaker 10 sets. Has a nice look and I feel and seals tightly.
Cons
  • Loved the color but was disappointed when it started to chip after multiple uses.

I really like the size, shape, weight, and overall design. Simple and basic look, however they don’t need to be fancy for a tool

Gets stuck every time!

I already have a barfly shaker and I decided to buy another. This time I bought a black one. Not only does it get stuck every time but the black coating is already peeling and I’ve only had it for 3 months. The one without the coating doesn’t get stuck as often. Don’t buy the shakers with coating or film on them!

It’s a little too big. Hard to get a good seal with a pint glass. Love the design tho & that’s why I bought it Thanks for attention!

Looks good and turns my drinking into a hobby

Works very well, and has an excellent seal when locked properly. The only downside (which I expected when I made the purchase) is the wear of the antique copper plating on the lip of the smaller shaker.

Not ideal for restaurant or high volume

The amount of cocktails I had to remake because of blue flecks in drinks was EMBARASSING. 2nd week of high volume banquet bartending and it was shedding. Threw it under the bar and only bust it out for emergencies. Scratches too easily and not ideal. Got so many compliments on it at first. Huge disappointment.

Does the job! Definitely recommend these they're a good price and not a piece of crap lol. We use them alot to make all kinds of drinks both alcoholic and nonalcoholic.

Paint chips in drinks

I've used this shaker a few times now. Each time I've used it I have found several small flakes of paint/color chips in my drinks. Unfortunately it's not as funny as Tommy Boy once lead us all to believe (pun intended). Pass on this shaker And get something made of better materials.I mixed drinks with ice, you might have better luck without ice when mixing.Gave it two stars because it is a cup I guess, I dunno just have two stars

I watch "How to Drink” on YouTube. Greg is always talking up Barfly equipment. I’d have to say after this trial purchase, I’ll be delving into more Barfly stuff soon.
