Broke after a few uses.

Broke after 4 uses. I have other chickamas that have done the same job well. I wonder what went wrong with them.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Minor problems

Like on the picture.

5 stars for looks. These were gifts for a friend. He really likes the look but hasn't used them yet. Handling the grape scissors is new to him, but he is looking forward to the first time. SELLER PLEASE NOTE: This review is presented with my initials "MB" not my name. Please do not request re-verification. Many Thanks.

The pruning shears are great. I'm used to cheap design Fiskar

With the price you have to think for a few minutes. But when you finally decide, it's worth it. The pruning shears are great. I'm used to the cheap Fiskar design, they are much sharper and the grip is more comfortable for sitting with flowers for hours. highly recommended

Pros
  • Arts, crafts and sewing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Not bad, just doesn't live up to the hype

I ordered some Chicamasses as many plant lovers touted them as one of the best pruning shears. While there's nothing *bad* about them, they don't live up to their reputation. They don't seem any more or less comfortable, easier to use or hold than their less respected competitors. I've been using them for a while and they hold the edge no better than any other pruner and they're no more or less easy to clean. Honestly they could be a little longer and that would improve their functionality.

Pros
  • Scissors
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others
