Description of Stainless Steel Jointed Dee Ring Snaffle Bit By Korsteel - Optimal For Enhanced Horse Riding Experience

The Dee ring compromises between an eggbutt and a full cheek snaffle, preventing pinching at the corners of the mouth and without the dangers posed by the arms of a full cheek snaffle. The single joint applies a nut cracker action which applies pressure to the tongue, the bars of the mouth and the horse's palate

I took a chance not knowing which size to order. The 5.25" was unavailable, so I ordered the 5" & it ended up being the perfect size. I am new to the horse world & sizes can run differently. The bit is beautiful & shiny, perfect for the Wintec bridle & reins I ordered. My Quarter horse, Gypsy looks beautiful with her new tack on! This bit is good quality and the Dee ring looks so elegant & English. Thank you Best Buy!

Pros
  • Durability
Cons
  • Although the bit is marketed as being "optimal" for enhanced riding, it may not be suitable for all horses or riding styles. Riders should take care to select a bit that is appropriate for both their horse's individual needs and their own skill level

Not bad. Good for beginners

Not bad. Good for beginners. My one horse has a sensitive mouth and she did okay with it although it did annoy her a little. Would reccomend for a horse with a mouth that is not soft or as a horse's first bit.

Pros
  • This fits perfectly! I would definitely buy this again.
Cons
  • Some riders may find the jointed dee ring design to be too flexible or unstable, which could result in difficulty controlling the horse or maintaining consistent contact during riding
