I've been looking for a stainless steel bowl with a silicone base for a long time. It never occurred to me to look for pens as well. I chose this set because the handles are compact and make it easy to store bowls in my small kitchen. As small as the handles are, they help when pouring batter out of the bowl. Slicing/grating inserts are just so-so. Rather little space on the surface and not very sharp. But I didn't buy any shells for this feature.

First there are some small scratches on the outside of the product, I thought I could live with that as I really like the design of this product but after the first use the inside of the mixing bowl is very scratched, I think it is stainless steel, but it's probably not high stainless steel, so the quality is a real issue, or this product could be better used as a serving bowl or regular container, definitely not a mixing bowl.

I like these bowls because of the handles and the non-slip bottom. I've used them almost every day to replace some plastic nest bowls. I've used them for mixing batter with a hand mixer and for other purposes. You were perfect. As for the reviews criticizing the quality because it's from China, I was skeptical at first because of the shiny interior, but so far I've only noticed normal wear and tear that I've seen with other stainless steel bowls I've owned. The grater attachment seemed like a great idea for grating cheese and cabbage. The functionality left a lot to be desired compared to our food processor. SMALL cheese can be grated, but you need to find a grater, attach a lid, and have exceptional forearm muscles, etc. The silicone(?) base on the bowls prevents them from slipping and falling onto the surface. I recently bought this product for my husband who loves to cook and bake. and he loves these bowls. As soon as they arrived, they were washed and already in use. The lids all fit perfectly and these bowls are really non-slip which I particularly like as I'm not the fussiest in the kitchen. I also like the handle when mixing ingredients as I was specifically looking for the bowl that had it. This order arrived quickly and we are both very satisfied. These mixing bowls have it all. I was very pleased with how this container reduced the amount of "junk" on the counter and in the cupboards when I was whipping cream for the recipe. The outer cover caught most of the mud and the small hole was big enough to fit a hand mixer. Being a metal, it was ideal to put it in the fridge to "cool" before whipping, which helps the process.
