Not 4-40, but M3 nuts.

Marked as 4-40 and wondering why they weren't tightened properly I decided to try the M3 screw. It worked as it should, which is why I was sent M3 nuts, not 4-40 nuts.

You are crazy! on locknuts

Well made with smooth threads. Nylon inserts keep them securely in place. They are ideal for small mobile electronic devices that require secure attachment. also inexpensive.
