Description of Keissco Stainless Steel Food Can Strainer Sieve Tuna Press Lid Oil Drainer Remover with No-Mess Design - Dishwasher Safe

Foods like tuna aren't fun to drain - all that smelly liquid on your hands! Avoid that altogether with this tin can strainer. Simply pop it over the can and push down on the handles. This helps extract liquid while keeping your hands clear (no cuts from lids!) Works great with most regular size & wide necked canned tuna. NOT FIT PULL TOP CANS!. Made of high quality, rust-resistant stainless steel that won't discolour or absorb unpleasant odours. Great for everyday use. Its round design discourages bacteria growth, with no nasty edges where dirt can gather. With no corners or crevices for dirt to hide in, this can strainer is very hygienic. Pop it in the dishwasher to get it sparklingly clean and odour free.

Almost perfect for colanders and food strainers

I don't know what can of tuna they used but even small ones have gaps in use. You need to repeat the stamp and make sure that it fits into small cans without gaps.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Not sure

Perfect Tuna Canning Strainer

If you're looking for the perfect Tuna Canning Strainer, look no further. I have reviewed many of them and decided on this one based on the reviews I read. Happy! Fits perfectly, doesn't spill and all the water comes out. I've also used it with canned veggies.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Shorter Cord Than Others

Not for ring glasses, but still a useful gadget.

I'm an idiot who didn't read the description and realized it didn't fit in a can of tuna. I was almost mad at my impulse buy but I used a can opener on the second can and it fit perfectly. Now I'll admit the ring pull is handy, but being able to dry tuna so well outweighs the convenience of ring pull for me - I hate soaked tuna in my salad or sandwich and this little device squeezes the "juice" out of every bite . . I'm also looking forward to using it to dry canned fruits and vegetables.

Functional and inexpensive, but not the best

This item has a "lip" meaning you'll get tuna juice on your hands (or anywhere) if you use it to drain your tuna let go and turn him over. It also feels very fragile. It serves the main purpose though, fits in a can of tuna, has been washed in the dishwasher a few times and still works like new. The price was right and I haven't found one like the old one. I had one for old style tuna cans so I gave it 4 stars. I don't know of a better product right now, but it's not that impressive.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Long wait

My little time saver - Kitchen & Dining

First of all, my wife hates me when I look at kitchen accessories on Amazon. She calls me the king of gadgets. I have to admit that some of them were complete failures while others turned out to be gems and this is one of them (a gem). When I make tuna I usually have to open 5-6 cans of sandwiches for me and my sons. It's a quick meal other than waiting for the jar to drain or standing over the sink and pressing the lid against the jar to squeeze the water out. Well, let me tell you no more…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor problems

Where have you been all my life?

Every gym lover knows how much tuna is. I can probably put together a cookbook on how many different ways I've learned to eat tuna using different tools. I always just cut off the top and then shove it into the jar with my thumbs, like a barbaric tuna eating a Neanderthal. In most cases, the lid got stuck on one of the smallest pieces of sheet metal and did not open fully. from the rest of the jar gives me a big fishy smell as it flakes off when I go to drain the juice from the lid. No longer…

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Very Expensive
