it is good. I made a lip balm with it (and other ingredients) and it worked well. **Note: If you plan to melt it down and then mix it with other crafting/cosmetic items, it will be VERY difficult to shave/rub. It's big and heavy. Buy a bag of beeswax granules instead and save yourself the hassle.

I ordered it to use, of course, but part of the decision to buy was its looks. The interesting hexagonal shape was chosen partly because it photographed well for a tutorial segment in a blog I'm writing. I received a large piece of beeswax. It only met half of my needs.

Great product. When mixed with shea butter, jojoba oil, and lanolin, it makes an excellent lip balm. I heated the mixture in a small pyrex dough bowl submerged in boiling water. Easy to pour into different containers. Beeswax can be used in many areas and I can't wait to try them all (furniture finishing, softening sash windows and cabinets).

Given some negative reviews, this was a very pleasant surprise. The product came as pictured and had a very sweet honey scent. Almost all of the beeswax I've used in the past has been sourced from local beekeepers. , and generally looked like honeycombs. This is a very advanced product. I was sent "free" with Revain Prime (no more sticky fingers). I use beeswax raw and in very simple blends with various oils to lubricate wood, leather and bullets. be a disappointment.
