Jeep lives again! All the locks stop working and when this one fails none of the locks seem to work. When I tried to block there was a buzzing noise but it didn't work. After the replacement, everything worked as it should. Looks and feels like an old OEM part.

Old jeeps if you don't use the doors enough the actuator locks will jam. If you spray WD 40 or some other lube on them they will work for a while and then stop. The suggestion was to pull it out and wash them with soap and water. I would not attempt this with an electrical component. I'm abroad and need to buy parts online that I can't ship here. The motorized door drive works plug and play and works without any problems.

Received this new actuator and installed it quickly. When connecting the electrical connector I noticed that the connection on the actuator was very loose and wrong. Took everything back off and found the two plastic halves that housed the motor and gearbox weren't fused together and cracked. I needed my car immediately and it was impossible to send back so I had to epoxy the halves together. Reinstalled and now it works perfectly. 5 stars for the work and 0 stars for the quality.
