Description of Stanford CoreNLP

Stanford CoreNLP provides a set of natural language analysis tools that can give the base forms of words, their parts of speech, whether they are names of companies, people, etc., normalize dates, times, and numeric quantities, and mark up the structure of sentences in terms of phrases and word dependencies, indicate which noun phrases refer to the same entities, indicate sentiment, extract open-class relations between mentions, etc.

Great Machine Learning Platform For An Amazing Application

I like how easy it is for anyone with basic coding skills to get started using this software. The way you train these models takes quite some time if you want something really good but not too slow at least. This was great when I used to work as an intern doing research where having access to data such as news articles from all over the world would have been impossible without the use of Stanford's NLP. It has helped me tremendously in my field by analyzing text documents so I could find…

Pros
  • Easy interface
  • Large amount pre trained word vectors available, including ones trained specifically within biomedical domains.
  • Lots more features than just tokenization (tokenizers) + POS tagging/chunking+ dependency parsing etc., which are often bundled together into one program that can be run directly outta box!
  • Good documentation included online tutorials; there even seems
Cons
  • So-so

Best Open Source Intelligence Analysis Tool !!

The best part is there's no limit for what you want it do - this software will analyze anything from simple text files or web sites all way through complicated databases with thousands (and even millions)of entries! And I love how fast its performance once installed compared to other options outthere such as Apache Solr/Lucene! You need some programming skills though but if your looking into NER specifically then definitely check them out because it really does wonders when comparing results…

Pros
  • Multi lingual support
  • Easy search term auto completion using regular expressions within sentences that are highlighted in red color instead highlighting whole documents.
  • Multiple output formats available including JSON, XML & CSV..etc
Cons
  • Some little things
