Disappointing Phillips Screwdriver for Auto Work

Based on our own experience, this screwdriver was a pain to use for our automotive repairs... The Phillips head felt flimsy and would slip out of the groove easily causing frustration and delays in the job. The only pro was that it seemed to be durable, but that wasn't enough to make up for its subpar performance. WE wouldn't recommend this tool for any serious auto work..

Why are you like that?

I have one of these. I bought it because it's $1.49 and it's made in the USA. But the four blades of the Phillips tip have slightly rounded edges, unlike all other Phillips screwdrivers, including the old plain Stanley #2 Phillips screwdriver that this article replaced. I couldn't find an explanation anywhere. I can only imagine that maybe this is for some very delicate work where you can't overtighten the fastener.
