Stanley Charger on Tools & Equipment

I ordered two and neither work. One started working when the second attempt didn't work. The other never worked. Complete waste.

Out of new batteries

I like that I can just plug the device in and not have to worry about the battery anymore. Just unplug and turn it off, plug it back in when you're done and it's fully charged.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Bad in cold weather

Bad especially in cold weather. Not suitable for charging in winter when it is cold. Intelligent charging chips or electronics fail. I had six of them and they all worked terribly in the cold. Great in warm weather

Easy to use in Tools & Equipment

I got this little charger because sometimes I don't start my car for 10 days or more. Thanks to this, I can plug it in and make sure my battery is fully charged every few days. I've connected the o-ring clamps and all I have to do is plug them into the main unit and I'll know right away if my battery has been completely changed or not. If not, I just switch it to charging and after a short while it's fully charged again. I recommend this to anyone who doesn't drive every day because it's so…

Avoid battery chargers at all costs

I ordered two of these first. When they arrived one absolutely didn't work from the start and I sent it back for a refund. The other seemed fine. I hooked it up to a deep cycle battery for a few months and was fortunate enough to order it for another battery. Luckily it was on standby because my existing one just died for no apparent reason. So I canceled my current order. Unfortunately I'm outside the return window for another. I would definitely avoid this product. The battery should last for

Works as advertised but lacks compared to previous version

I bought this unit to replace a similar old Stanley BC209 charger/maintainer which I gave my son as a gift. This newer version works well, although its maximum current rating is lower than the previous model (1.0A vs. 1.5A). I also found that the lights on the new one were less visible than the old ones, particularly the green "fully charged" light. The fact that the new one is significantly smaller also means it runs warmer, which isn't always a good thing. And finally, it's missing a…

Worked great while I was away

I'm a female and not quite sure how to use this thing. After watching a few youtube videos I tried it and got a yellow and then a green light so I figured I probably connected it correctly. I needed this to charge my car battery while I was away for 3 weeks. I used an extension cord to connect the battery to an outlet in the garage. I attached the battery to the driver's door handle. Everything seemed to be working fine. When I came back the green light came on (indicating the battery was fully
