🟡 Yellow Stant Flex Fuel Cap for Regular Fuel Review

Replaced original cap with this cap on a 2008 Durango because I was getting slow evaporator leak codes and the gas cap light was on. After replacing the cap, the same codes/gas cap light still appeared. Did a smoke test with this new cap and the smoke came out around the cap. It turned out that the new cover is not airtight at all. Absolute waste of time/money.

I bought this after the standard cap broke trying to unscrew it. gas cap. He feels very strong. i like the color You can't attach it to the car without drilling holes in it. but it's not a sedative for me. I really don't mind. The color is bright yellow so you can see it after dropping it somewhere while you refuel the car.

Like many others, my check engine light came on indicating an exhaust leak. The factory cap for my Chrysler was $30 and as always I kept looking and found this one. After I installed it and cleared the codes, the problem was solved. The check engine light no longer lights up. I removed the star because while it's listed as a direct factory replacement, it didn't have a hole for attaching the gas cap strap like the factory strap. Other than that, it was a fantastic purchase. Fixed my van for $10

Tired of resetting codes that were becoming more and more common, I ended up ordering a new cover. Install our 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan and fix the code as expected. Looks like a quality cap as expected from Stant. I wanted to keep the leash and am surprised there isn't one. I reused the original (at your own risk) by very carefully drilling the correct size hole in the center just like the original. Unlike the original, you can see through this hole, but the yellow piece appears to be just a…
