Star Classic Skywalker Child Costume: Unleash Your Inner Jedi! Review

Great costume for $15! I bought this and an extra raincoat for $6 and it was perfect. My son loved it (9 years old). I'd say it's a bit big, but we solved that easily by using a safety pin behind the neck to make that part smaller, and then I basically used a 'belt' to tuck it in part of the length of the bodice to hold the tunic. Kind folded in fabric. I'm not complaining about the size - it was easy enough to train and then my son has room to grow when he wants to wear it again.

So NO overshoes that are thrown away anyway according to other reviews. (They are listed as included on the packaging.) The pants are a completely different color than the top, and the wrap at the bottom looks like part of a mummy costume. 😂 One of those "wrapping" details is sewn on top of the head, which probably doesn't bother anyone, but I noticed right away. No wrinkles, seams do not match. It was probably cheaper than what I could make, but it's a pretty shoddy product.

A few problems with this product: First, the packaging says (and the photo) pants with ankle boots, the suit we received is only pants without Boots; and secondly the tunic had two tears at the top but nowhere says it was used when i bought it and there is no time to send it back and order a new one before halloween so now i have to fix it myself. Benefits: Pull over the top to keep it from unraveling. The tape is printed on sponge material, not foam like other brands. It seems much stronger. The kid likes it. There are no foam covers for the legs. The printed fabric looks very good. Cons: It is not what is pictured. The front "clasp" is sewn in the wrong direction. Upon opening the box I found that this suit did not come with shoe covers. I have looked at the label and the order and yes, as advertised, the suit was to come with boot covers. Pants end at the ankles, no further details. I bought this suit for a themed race where my son will only be riding in a sidecar so it's no big deal.
