Description of Starrett SM30 HO TCT SHEETMETAL

Ideal for cutting stainless and high alloy steels, non-ferrous light metals and reinforced fabrics at a much faster speed than bi-metal hole saws. Tough tungsten carbide tipped teeth have a positive cutting angle which provide fast and efficient removal of chips and swarf. Ideal for production cutting and particularly suitable for use in drills with limited speed control. Tungsten carbide tipped teeth provide superb product life and cutting performance. Safety stop at the base of the hole saw prevents drilling beyond the maximum cutting depth.

Efficient and Durable

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, this hole saw accessory exceeded my expectations. It cut through tough sheet metal with ease and even lasted longer than other brands Ive used in the past .The design and quality of the product were also impressive..

The spring pushed the balls out slightly. Great drill and it will last a lot.

Excellent tailor. I had some 3/16" thick chrome plated brass plates that I needed to drill holes in. I used a bench drill, some cutting fluid and got clean cuts with no burrs, the spring knocked out the plugs easily. Great drill bit and will hold up for many more production cuts.
