Excellent Quality: Computer Components

I bought these for a new computer I was building. I'm glad I did. The BeQuiet case had standoffs, but 4 of them were too loose to fit the screws. I replaced all the racks with these Startech racks and everything fits perfectly. Highly recommend if you need them!

Pros
  • Many will fit
Cons
  • Not all will fit

They are fine and work well

They work well but it would be better if the males were shorter, a little over half their current length, that would be great. The reason for this is that they hold almost no torque and long threads make them more likely to get in the way. In my case I had to grind the streams to add them up.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

6-32 Racks in Computer Components

Must Have! Well done good for everything! I even use them to mount case fans so I can use different colored thumbscrews instead of the boring regular Philips screws. Just make sure 1: is the right length you need, 2: is the right thread type and size. it is a 6-32 thread, not m-3, m-4 (m = metric FYI)

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Style 90

They are cheap in computer screws

They are cheap and I like that. You can tell they're cheap by 2 things: the color is bronze rather than gold, and 2: they unscrew fairly easily. You have to tighten them with pliers or they will come loose and loosen the other screws. The external thread is slightly longer than some others. Otherwise they work very well.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Just what you need for the rack

Although brass motherboard racks are not particularly heavy, they must be very strong in production and meet the specifications as follows: * All male threads work * Each hex head is same exact length * all internal threads work * 15 pack 15All of those qualities apply to this one, so it's as good as it gets. I check them beforehand as I found the hard way when you have the motherboard half mounted in the case but you hit a dead end because one of them has cross threads, it's just not a good…

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Perfect fit, good quality

Mannequin I had to return the Doa mobo to a different seller and forgot to separate the stands and screws from the mobo parts bag I left in the box before realizing it I send it. I came back and when I couldn't find any racks or screws, it dawned on me. I checked my stock of parts and I only had 2 frames. So luckily I found them and they arrived quickly. In fact they seem to be of slightly better quality than the ones in my case, the threads seem cleaner and easier to screw in.

Pros
  • Computer components
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

They worked very well

I first bought them to use in a suitcase but then I noticed they were only 1/4 inch long while the ones in the suitcase were 3/8 inch long were, so I put them aside. and as luck would have it I had the opportunity to work on another case that used 1/4 inch studs but they were not brass and 3 were removed. Startech to the rescue. With them on hand I was able to decide the problem and start building. I wish all case manufacturers would standardize on one height and screw pattern, but that might…

  • Computers and Accessories
Cons
  • weak
