SIMPLE INSTALLATION: This server rack caster kit for open frame racks come with 16x mounting screws to help with the installation of the casters. Allowing you to move and adjust the position of your rack/cabinet to suit your needs.

All parts are included in Rack and Cabinet Kit

These rolls currently support 4 Cisco 2821 Servers, 4 2960 Servers, 4 2U Servers, PDUs. etc. in a 150 lb rack. Sturdy and easy to roll. Plastic wheel lock. Tripp-lite wheels are bigger and stronger. but these StarTechs are doing their jobs. The holes align perfectly with the Startech stand and the Tripp-Lite stand.

Exactly as advertised

It was exactly as advertised and worked great with my Startech 36U rack. I have some fairly heavy UPSs and an extra battery at the bottom of the rack, some lighter 1" units at the top, and a couple of 4" servers in the middle. Everything spins and looks solid.

Discard the screws.

They fit perfectly in my 26U cab. I had to drill 2 holes for each set but it was cheaper than buying Tripp-lite reels. The hardware that comes with these wheels is useless. Plan ahead and purchase the nuts, bolts, and washers needed for installation.

Heavy Duty Commercial Quality

These reels are fantastic. difficult conditions. Well constructed. Easy installation. I have a loaded 42U rack and these wheels move the unit with ease. No snagging when turning, frame tipping over as with other reels. Very soft!

Casters DO NOT WORK with computers and accessories

Bought this 16U Open Frame Network Rack. Looking through this item above I thought it was compatible and fits perfectly. A 4 piece caster kit has arrived but it does not fit this rack. There are no attachment points under the stand for installing casters. Contacted StarTech and finally spoke to a support rep after a 55 minute wait. He also confirmed that this was not suitable. Great strong videos!

I bought these to install in my StarTech.com 36U 4POSTRACK36 Adjustable 4-Station Open Frame Server Rack (Black) and I couldn't be happier! They are extremely durable. I considered looking elsewhere for cheaper ones but was put off by their pound rating. The server rack they support weighs around 100 pounds alone. In addition, it has 7 2U UPS/batteries (probably just £350), 3 4U servers (probably just £100) and a bunch of networking equipment (probably just another £50). So they can support…
