Matches Description: USB to VGA Adapter

I have a 34 inch widescreen display with 3440 x 1440 and a Surface Pro 6 (and dock). All other MiniDisplayPort adapters limited my resolution to 1080p. Tip for Surface Pro users: I had to take extra steps to get the correct resolution. First I had to connect directly to my surface and then go to the dock. I also had to return my graphics card adapter. I suspect that last part is because I used to use a DisplayPort adapter.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Blank

I purchased this to add a third external display to my mid 2015 15.5" MacBook Pro with discrete graphics. The old MBP with NVidia graphics could support three external displays simultaneously, but a consequence of Apple's move to Radeon cards is that they only have enough power to run two external displays at once. some power is drawn from the monitor, not the graphics card My 3rd display works and I love it!

Pros
  • Complete Kit
Cons
  • No Form Required

Works fine just don't think about using it with older 720p

StarTech Adapters is my company that I use for almost all types of A/V adapters. I bought this device so my wife could connect her Windows Surface Pro to our bedroom TV and connect a wireless keyboard to it so she could use it from anywhere in the room. this. The picture was terrible, any TV settings or Surface Pro settings would make things worse. So it looks like it's time for a new TV! lol Buy an adapter. I use it for other applications in my home theater and living room TVs and everythingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Another great Startech product

This adapter does exactly what is advertised with no problems. I hooked it up to my desktop and 4K TV and it worked right away. I didn't have to fiddle with setup like I've had with other adapters in the past. I have been buying Startech equipment for 5 years now and have never had any problems with any of their products. I will continue to use Startech adapters until they give me a reason not to.

Pros
  • Computer Accessories & Peripherals
Cons
  • Vulgarity
