.get it. This does what I need (to boost the card I have in my laptop's slot. I had no problem getting the adapter onto my card (corner latches in place). I can remove the card/adapter if needed ., no problem Since they give you 3 adapters, I'm wondering if I should buy another card?

I ordered a pair of 34mm ExpressCards that fit in the 54mm ExpressCard slot. The adapter just snaps into place and really saves. I had to modify an adapter by expanding the slot at the top with a key for one of the express cards. On the other hand, it worked without modifications. I found it by accident. It must be listed as a recommended item for any 34mm Express card.

As the title says: A bit fiddly to install, but works. I attached the attachment to the card at a slight angle, latched the bottom edge to the bottom of the card, and then straightened/folded it to align and place. It took a few tries but it got stuck and the card works fine in my laptop.

I used this to hold a 34mm GMYLE Express Card in a 54mm Express Laptop Slot. I had to cut off the end tap to fit the GMYLE card - very simple mod. Not every laptop will have the same results. But I see this being true for Dell devices at least.

I bought these to add a 34mm wide USB 3.0 Expresscard adapter for use in my Lenovo X220. The adapter was quite loose and easily disconnected when the USB cable was unplugged, so I figured this would fix the situation. nope! It doesn't make the card any more stable internally, and when I try to unplug the USB cable from the card, the card still wants to get out of the car completely. waste of money.

Where are these things hiding? I've been playing around with the proprietary ExpressCard for almost a year now. Took 3 packs for about $3 (how bad can they be?) - I was surprised they fit so well AND the cards no longer wobble in the slot causing system crashes. More importantly, STOP turning everything off, rebooting, and starting over. If these things were properly illustrated in a specialized high tech catalog for about $10 each, I think they would still sell. (I know I would buy it easily…

EDIT 07/07/15: Reverting the original bad review below. From 1 to 5 stars because the braces fit really well and work well: they pinch, they don't slip. They are very well designed, slightly smaller than the "coat of arms" on 34mm Express cards. So you put them on and they fit perfectly. Thanks to them, Express Cards even fit in my PC card slots (which shouldn't work).
