Just what you need to mount a TV to the wall. The TV is in the countryside by a lake that has frequent storms. Now I can turn off the TV when I get out of the cab without looking for the TV.

Turn on the garlands in the socket on the lamppost. The outlet is rotated 90 degrees and I also wanted a spade plug to run parallel to the lamp post. A pair of black velcro straps and nobody notices.

Nothing wrong with the product but note that for a typical household outlet the cord is at a 90 degree angle to the LEFT side. (You can see it in the photo). Most importantly, I needed a right angle to the RIGHT; The return was quick and easy!

For $6 I can get a much longer extension at Home Depot or elsewhere but I understand the shipping actually is not free and is included in the value of the goods. We have an outlet in the bathroom that is so badly located that we can't plug anything into it. It's wedged between the wall and the mount so you can't go straight in or use a flat socket. Some of the outlets I need to use are behind furniture or shelves and the devices are not flat head cords. I don't want to buy a 6ft, 10ft, or 12ft flathead extension that needs to tuck extra cord behind furniture, so I have these short ones. This allows me to plug a short cord into an outlet, a device into a short cord, and then slide a shelf or piece of furniture flush with the wall. I bought this adapter to connect a high amperage backup power supply. At first glance, I could tell that this cable looked less durable than typical NEMA 5-15 cables commonly used to connect to a computer. Further testing showed that the cable was only rated for 13 amps or 1625 watts. I immediately checked the product page and saw no mention of this limitation. This is a ridiculous economy, as the amount of extra copper needed to keep a normal household outlet running at full power (15A, 1800W)
