I needed a 6 foot 14 ga cable to fix a heater. This works great at 1250/1500 watts of power. 16ga isn't big enough, but this cable is the right size.

ALL photos show heavy duty plugs with strong brass terminals. They are ALL WRONG. The supplied product has cheap flimsy silver plug connectors - easily slips out of the socket. And it won't last. We've seen these thin silver connectors before - the ground pin just snaps off with very little force -
