Be careful. Came in unobtrusively and had to find a default profile to adapt to the PC. Not advertised as inconspicuous. It worked as expected after I found the default profile.

Excellent quality, works perfectly. Too bad I didn't realize that "LP" for "Low Profile" means they fit a short, skinny body. This is NOT a standard length/height. at least in a standard-height case. 🙄

Great product, just what I was looking for for my computer. I have a motherboard with a serial port, but no port was included.

I recently discovered to my surprise that a relatively new 1150 socket motherboard actually has a COM port! I need a COM port for an older legacy device that communicates this way and I bought this port to try. Yes, it worked great. Please note that this version has a flat mount. I knew this was happening and bought it that way on purpose as it saved me about 60 cents. since I already had full size COM port brackets.

The rest works fine. I just want the description to state which of the two IDC-10 pins is used.

Requires long mounting bracket. it's only about 3 1/2 inches long. You have to understand its abbreviation to know that this is a short version. Should include both parts to facilitate use in different places.
