Will not work with Late 2017 MacBook Pro models.

Does not work with Late 2017 MacBook Pro models. The monitor periodically turns off/on for 3-5 seconds. unusable. I bought two of these and both did the same thing.

Razer phone with HDMI? Yup

I tried the Razer Phone 1 (no Razer Phone 2, bought a Razer Phone 1 cheap) and decided to get it working with a single USB-C port bring. This beauty allows me to charge and play via HDMI at the same time, which is the best of both worlds. The plus is that the sound and picture are also ported to my TV from an adapter. I have no complaints as this is the adapter I use for my Razer Phone when I'm at home or indoors so it can be ported to the big screen when it's available.

Late 2016 MacbookPro15 4k@60hz issues

I have a 4k@60hz ASUS PA329Q 32" 4K/UHD 3840x2160 IPS HDMI Eye Care ProArt Monitor and this adapter cannot handle the output at that resolution. I could get a 4k output at 30Hz but the experience isn't that great I ended up buying a USB C to DisplayPort (4K@60Hz), CHOETECH (4ft/1.2m) USB 3.1 Type C (Thunderbolt 3 compatible ) to DP cable for 2016 MacBook Pro, 12" MacBook, ChromeBook Pixel, Samsung Galaxy S8 /S8 Plus etc. running at 4k@60fps. It works well at lower resolutions like 2K, but I'mโ€ฆ

Does not work with Razer Phone

will pass power and charge the phone, but won't accept HDMI signal from the Razer Phone (version 1, not Razer Phone 2) which was the only reason I bought it. I do not need that. I think it was a waste of money for me.

good product, the best among computer cable adapters

When I turn on the computer it doesn't always recognize the screen extension immediately so I have to unplug the cable and plug it back in and then it always works otherwise I would give 5 stars
