🚗 Silverado Corvette Firebird Escalade Starter Review

So far so good. It's only been 2 days and it fits perfectly on my 2005 Chevy Silverado LS 2500HD with 6.0 Vortex engine. I hope to benefit from it for at least 5 years and I will be satisfied for the price. I will update if there are problems.

Worked well initially. It spins for a week but won't turn on the Bendix drive after it's been warming up for a few minutes. In the end I wouldn't do it at all. I figured the heat was the problem, so I bought extra insulation. It does not matter. Replaced the Delco AC starter and the problem has been fixed.

The OEM starter has a short stud and a long stud. This starter requires 2 long bolts. Therefore the standard long screw must be used with the 1 new long screw that comes with the starter. I installed a few days ago and started about a dozen times. Works perfectly. Easy install if you know what you are doing. If there are any reliability issues over time I will update the review.

I bought this for H2 Hummer. I gave it 3 stars for ease of installation, not because of the product but because of the truck it was installed on. The starter arrived well packaged and in new condition. I was very surprised at the cost savings compared to buying from a local auto parts store. Once the launcher was installed it worked great and solved the problem we were having. Very happy with the starter!

I bought a starter motor for a 2004 Chevy C2500 5.3 liter engine, it came and was identical to the one I removed, I fitted it and it has 1 Worked fine for a week then the magnetic starter failed. Outside. I contacted the company and they said I bought the wrong starter. I was told the warranty is void. I've been a GM engineer for many years. I worked at GM dealerships from 1980 to 2006. I do not recommend this company for purchasing parts.

Perfect fit for 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.0L Vortec and starts much faster than the original. Make sure the starter connector wires do not touch or touch the heat shield after installing the new starter. Reinstall the heat shield as the solenoid will not last long if exposed to heat. You will need 13mm and 8mm sockets to remove the starter from the engine and the connector wires on the starter solenoid.

Used this starter as a "replacement" for my 1999 transmission. They have 2 long bolts instead of my stock 1 long 1 short (breaks and risks damaging the block). ) This is where the only small difficulty arose. The bolt was too big to go through the last part of the frame, so we tapped the bottom of the thread onto the bottom of the thread very evenly in a circle about an inch long. This lifted the bolt almost all the way up and then pressed it nicely against the rest when installed. Turn the key
