Yay, they fit! for my opinion

I have tried so many, and these are the ones! Usually wear 18/20 and 2x was perfect, they fit are smooth, not clingy, baggy or frumpy. Also, a perfect length. It’s a lightweight fabric, which will surely dry quickly. They are long enough so I am not worried about them riding up, but being a bit conservative, I will wear a very lightweight pair of drawers underneath. This is not a drawback at all, in fact it’s my preference. Also, these look nice enough to wear not just for swimming, so I think…

  • I didn’t like the material it was slick. Not flattering at all.
Cons
  • It had no mesh lining and the material was thin. The bottoms were a little tight and gave me a wedgie.

Nice shorts: my feedback

Bought these shorts for an upcoming beach trip. Have worn them several times to test the stretch and comfort level. They are very nice. You can wear them as swim suit bottoms with nothing underneath or wear bottoms with these overtop. Would have been nice if they had a built in panty but I have no complaints about these shorts. Oh and they fit pretty true to size im 5'5 and about a size 24 or 26 and i bought the 4X.

Can we talk about the fabric?

To begin, the shorts are very well made - but this material/fabric - OMG - it is SO nice. It has just a touch a stretch to it, so you think that the material/fabric would be thick and heavy, but it's not, it is very light weight, but structured so well that the shorts lay nicely, they don't cling, they don't ride up (ladies you know what I'm talking about).I plan to grab them up in every color because not only are they AMAZING, the price is too! High quality board shorts that are great for us bigger ladies

high quality board shorts with 2 way stretch. For some reason I had thought that these had elastic waist and a drawstring, but it just has the elastic waist. The string seen in the front is just a lace up over the fly opening. I wish it had both elastic waist and a drawstring. Mine are a little loose in the waist, but will work for me. I will purchase a smaller size in the near future

Use to be better: my feedback

I bought this about a year ago and it was great, wanted a new one so I bought a new one, not made the same, the fly area is much shorter, it works but the quality isn’t a five star like it was a year ago

Odd fit for me, returned

I typically wear size 20, sometimes 18. I’m usually a 2x or on occasion a 1x in things. I took my measurements before ordering a 2x in these shorts. They were not comfortable at all and I can only describe the fit as weird. It was like too big yet too tight and just a very odd fit all together. The closure is very small Velcro tabs that didn’t seem to work as well as ties. I didn’t realize these would rely on ties and Velcro for closure. There is no inner liner.I liked the color and the…

I will admit I was skeptical that these would work for me. Well I was WRONG! These fit fantastic and I love them. So glad I decided to take a chance and order them.

Too small, but super nice

Fast shipping. Really soft material. Not crazy about the Velcro but it's fine. Love the length. However my biggest criticism is I did NOT find these true to size. I'm normally an 18/20- 2X and can't close the shorts. There's not time for me to reorder for my vacation so I'm pretty bummed :( they appear to be good workouts quality.

Very comfortable! in my review

I was looking for a pair of swim shorts that weren’t super short or super tight, these were them. The fabric is light and soft. The length is perfect, his just above the knee. I’m 5’9, 220 and the 2x fits nicely. Could have gone down, but the extra room isn’t bad

Stood up to Moab! for my opinion

If you are a big girl, with a big butt and thunder thighs, say hello to your new swim shorts! Bought these for a trip to Moab.never wanted to take them off. They are soooper comfy and keep the girly bits nice and cool on a hot, 116 degree Moab day. Wore them swimming, hiking, rafting. No chaffing

I want to love them.

I really want to love these enough to order more but I have 2 issues. Too high waisted for my liking, and just 1 measly little pocket that doesn't even fit my phone. Otherwise, love the fabric, fit is good (though I would go up a size if they weren't so high waisted) and they're cute.

Weird pseudo fly on my review.

Update: After a few washes I find that I really like these in spite of the waist opening. And, yes I AM thinking about purchasing another pair now.The fabric is nice. Runs small. The fly is really odd for women's plus. A single drawstring would have been fine for me. No repeat purchase here.

Excellent as shorts and as swim shorts!

Okay, I am 5'2". I have a 52 inch waist. I'm not proud of it but you need this info to know that the 4X shorts fit me perfectly. They have elastic around the back and a working draw string in front. The fly area has a black panel sewn in so if it were to open nothing is exposed. They are modest in the water and good to wear as regular shorts. The hit me right at the knee cap. Perfect for the beach

These board shorts were just the thing I was looking for! They are roomy, long and dry fast - just what I was looking for, The only drawback was that there was no attached liner or brief. Other than that, they were perfect!

Swim shorts need a liner

I absolutely love everything about these shorts except one thing, they need a liner in them! I had to buy separate bathing suit bottom to wear under the shorts. Love how comfortable they are and they are perfect for being on a float on the lake! These shorts aren't as 'quick drying' as they say, but that's ok. I've gotten tons of compliments on them as well.

Oh, my gosh! Board shorts that FIT!

I like the length… I like the fit… all other board shorts I ordered were too small and NOT true to size. Maui Rippers fit GREAT! I cannot wait to wear them to the beach and fishing!
