Bad neckline best in my review

I recently bought this shirt to wear for Halloween. I ordered a small and fit perfect (Bust 38, Waist 29). My only complaint was when worn off the shoulder, the ruffle elastic would roll under as seen in the picture. I had some garment double sister tape and it still wouldn’t stay. I kept having to pull it down to unroll. It’s a really cute shirt, it’s thin so you’ll have to wear a strapless bra under it. I don’t think I’ll be wearing it again at least not off my shoulders.

  • See through and thin. I’d get a dark color if worried and size up.

feminine? YES! good for me

Love its loose fit & believe it will feel great in the hot summer. The top of the ruffle tends to roll a bit, but still pretty and very feminine. Love it. Have not washed it yet, so that is another consideration that I hope will be good.

Did not wash up well

It was perfect when I bought but after I washed it and hung dried it. It got funky and now the material feels under one arm that it fits crooked. You would now think it's a irregular. So bummed becuz it's very cute. I bought it a little bigger too, just becuz I wanted to make sure there was extra room incase it shrank.

Horrible Quality good for me

Was looking for a basic white cottony peasant top to wear with summer skirts. BE WARNED: this is bargain-store Halloween costume quality, not a real shirt. It's a slippery, shiny polyester material (think old lady nightgowns). It's ridiculously thin but still stifling hot because of the cheap synthetic fabric. See-through, ill-fitting, wrinkles like no tomorrow. If you need a throw-away bar wench costume for a RenFair or ComiCon, go for it. Otherwise, hard pass. Hope this helps.

Great, but see-through

Definitely wear with a corset or something to cover your chest. This worked perfect with my halloween costume corset, but I'm not able to wear it alone due to it being see-through

Better fabric than cheap see-thru costume fabric

I followed the advice of other viewers and ordered a size down as it is quite roomy, especially with the elasticized waist, and it was perfect. The fabric is nice, breathable cotton that feels so much more comfortable on a hot Maryland summer day at the Rennaisance Festival than polyester. Also, the quality of the fabric is such that it is opaque enough to wear as a casual shirt by itself with jeans or shorts or a skirt without a bust corset needed to hide the nips!The only flaw I could find…

I really like this top

I really like this top! It's fun, it's flirty, and it'll go great with a skirt I bought from another company for an upcoming Renaissance Faire! It washes really well, it's light, so it'll be easy to wear for spring/early summer without overheating.

Overall it fits fine. That's my feedback! It does run a bit large. I think an XL might have been fine and I'm normally a 2x in tops.

Delicate but nice enough

It's a bit thinner than I wanted for cool weather and it came a bit wrinkly and seemed to delicate to risk ironing, bit it was comfortable all day at the Renaissance Faire

Nice quality. Works on the shoulder.

I've been trying to find the right shirt for my costume. Most peasant style blouses are off-the-shoulder. I wanted something that fits up on the shoulder without constantly sliding down. This is perfect. Great quality fabric too. A bit sheer, but not bad.

Nice blouse for my opinion

Bought this to go with a pair of leather pants. Blouse definitely has the look I wanted. I normally wear a 14/16 (L/XL) on top as I'm an inverted triangle with large shoulders and bust. By the size chart they provide I could have chosen the medium, I bought the XL (wanted a little more length, I'm 5'9"), and really should have met in the middle and gone with the large.
