Not as pictured. Thin 1 layer 1 time use mylar bag

Not what was shown in the picture. This product is 1 ply of mylar with orange color on the outside and shiny on the inside. The photo advertising the item clearly shows a woman in the bag and the bag being thick enough to stand on it's own, and not rip when used. That is Not this product. This is a basic mylar sleeping bag with orange on 1 side and an included travel bag which is Not needed because this item is so thin it will probably be a 1 time emergency use only!

Pros
  • Pretty warm. Will buy more
Cons
  • May not be comfortable for extended use

Heats up fast for my opinion

Did an experiment with my infrared thermometer. It was 51 degrees outside and very windy. I laid down a blanket in my driveway and placed the opening so wind would not blow into bag. I was cold upon entering bag. Thermometer showed 61 degrees inside. About 5-10 minutes later it was about 71 degrees. At first I had my whole body inside, but the plastic became damp from breathing inside. My face didn't feel cold in the wind with it outside the bag as the inside was warm. I only had a…

This product was sent directly as shown

I purchased these bags for the homeless. I do wish that they had darker colors. The bags are exactly as shown in the images and video provided of the item. It seems that a few customers misinterpreted and they didn’t notice the details of the bags. The images and the video here does plainly show the details of the sleeping bags. I would recommend these bags if you’re planning to give them to those in need or just for personal use also. It’s like a typical Mylar blanket but in sleeping bag form.

Pros
  • Haven’t had a chance to use them yet.I’m glad I have them for my 72 hour bug out bag.
Cons
  • Material may have an unpleasant smell

Just in case in my review

Scatter these in every vehicle, in both ends of the house so that in an emergency you'll be warm. They instantly reflect body heat inward and block the cold wind. Plus, one is fun to play with - so ephemeral that it doesn't seem real.

Pros
  • I was happy with this product I just wish it would go back in the bag properly once it's unfolded
Cons
  • Can be noisy to move around in

For Emergency Evacuation Kit

I bought these to finish off my emergency evacuation kit. They came packaged well and come in little bags. I did not open them and hope to never have to use them!

Pros
  • These units are compact, Light to carry and easy to deploy.
Cons
  • May not fit comfortably in a backpack

You Can't go wrong with these.

I've been after the entire collection of survival stuff like the poncho, the blanket and now this sleeping bag. I now have all three and I am very excited and pleased with all of it and one of these when the opportunity comes knocking I will be able to help someone or even help myself with whatever the situation calls for. These are very nice 👌 products.

Pros
  • Big enough for adults, these are the perfect item to throw in your bugout bag!
Cons
  • Some users may experience claustrophobia

good for emergency use

got these for a survival weekend trip, they did ok. i wouldn't expect them to last more than a few nights, they are after all intended for emergency use. it was in the 50s and i could tell a difference when i used it.

Pros
  • nice ,small, portable
Cons
  • May not be large enough for taller individuals

Donated to homeless youth

These were purchased to donate to homeless youth. I heard about them sleeping in the woods in Milwaukee so I purchased these for them. Unfortunately I can't give more information than this as I haven't used these myself.

Pros
  • Bought this just in case. Put one in my car and carry one when I hike just in case
Cons
  • May not provide enough protection in extreme weather conditions

Should work in an emergency

I have included a picture of how the 6 pack arrives. The 6 sacks each arrive in separate zipper bags along with 6 orange nylon fabric drawstring bags. The nylon bags are a bit larger than I thought they would be, but that leaves some extra room.

Pros
  • Perfect for black outs too!
Cons
  • Can be difficult to stay warm if wet

Light and compact: my feedback

Got this for emergency purposes only. I haven’t opened it up. I keep one in my bag I carry daily and will keep another in the car etc. from the looks and size I’m satisfied.

Pros
  • it is a orange metallic survival blanket. I hope I never have to use them.
Cons
  • May not provide enough protection from wildlife

Great for use to give to homeless people

Been using on when we take out a food truck for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. With rain heavy they where very happy with the warmth, protection and easy to store.

Pros
  • Extremely lightweight, and a great ease of conscious to throw in any camping bag/glove box!
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in high altitudes

Keeping one in each car

Seemed to be a good quality to price. Was originally going to get a 2 pack but bought this 4 pack for only a few dollars more. Will keep one in me and my wife’s vehicle and one in my bug-out bag.

Pros
  • This item is small enough for easy storage. Hopefully, we never have to use them.
Cons
  • Did not come with 2 rain ponchos as advertised. That’s why I bought this set!

Great for Hunting and Camping

Works nice for camping and hunting trips on cool nights, and easy to store in its own bag. Compact and easy to carry with rest of your gear.

Pros
  • Definitely needs to be outgased due to the strong smell.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to assemble in high winds

Not durable for my opinion

I was so excited to get this emergency sleeping bag, especially because it said reusable! When I received it I opened the package to see it. I like to know what I am putting in my hiking pack, as you know things take up space fast so I need to know if it's worth it to pack around. The bag is extremely thin, I was thinking jeez I could have gotten this same thing from Walmart. I'm a fairly small person. 5' 4" 135lbs. The bag was very large which I loved and I could feel it was definitely warmer…

Pros
  • Durability and cost
Cons
  • Not as described

Time will tell: my feedback

Can't say. Like so many things we have in our emergency backpacks the time you need them it's too late for a judgment call. Just hope I never the to use the.

Pros
  • It's light weight and packs very small
Cons
  • If you get the four pack it only come with two cases.

Great to Have Just in Case of Emergencies!

I bought these for my husband and I to have as emergency items for our hiking backpacks in the event we get stranded or lost somewhere, especially when we’re in areas we haven’t been to, don’t have cell service or when we do cooler weather hikes. They are small and light weight enough that we don’t notice the extra weight. Haven’t had to use them but they seem like they’re good quality for the purpose I got them for. Wouldn’t use them as a regular sleeping bag or anything like that, but for a…

Pros
  • hiking camping
Cons
  • Really light and compact bought for emergency’s really like it so far but haven’t used it

Not durable , - my new review

To my surprise , upon opening this looked like a garbage bag . And just from one pull it ripped . Not the greatest . Sorry very disappointing .

Pros
  • Bought these for my bug out bag. Very Happy
Cons
  • Can be cumbersome to carry on a long hike

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very doable for my opinion

We purchased to hand out to the homeless. They are very compact for them to carry, and should hold up very well. Not machine washable.

Pros
  • Pictures to come. Purchased these for the homeless to help them stay warm!
Cons
  • Not machine washable
