Not bad for the price

As others have pointed out, the sensitivity of the six sensors vary and may need to be moved to get a result. Used it to fix the front of my wife's Lincoln MKZ (2008). While I could narrow the list down to the strut tower and sway bar connections, I couldn't rule it out either. I went with a spacer because of the noise and since the links were only $20 I replaced them too. Like new. Everything worked as expected and came in a nice plastic case with a vinyl pouch for the sensors/cables. For $20,

  • Great for a small home

  • No instructions

Great deal and great product!

Wow, how nice! They cost $600 for tool carts! I tested each channel with each output with a small hourglass and could hear the sand stop and start. I also bought a wearable with useless "just get it out of the way" headphones. I connected the AKG Bluetooth headphones directly using the cable that came with the headphones and Wallah HD sound! Soooo, it goes without saying that I popped the earbuds into the headphone case and the Boom made the same, crystal clear sound. Much better than standardโ€ฆ

  • Makes you happy

Priceless, but different mic volumes cause a problem

I agree with others that each mic has a different volume, so you can't easily compare two mics. You either have to swap them back and forth and compare again, or I used two of these at each point so I can compare the two without having to do another test run. Before I did that, it actually resulted in me misdiagnosing the problem, costing hundreds and many hours of unnecessary front bearing replacements. But its benefits outweigh the problems. I was later able to determine that it was indeedโ€ฆ

  • Great for me

Best thing I've bought in a long time

Growl at a 98 GM tire speed. Only audible at speeds above 15 km/h with the windows open. Couldn't tell where it came from. The friend stuck his head out the window. Nada! It was only audible through the cockpit resonance. Got it and started with the IFS front diff. The passenger side axle shaft's outer needle bearing sang while the other mic on the pumpkin was audible but quiet. 1 month scratching my head and looking like an idiot shaking my head was diagnosed before I could even get out of myโ€ฆ

Works well.: Diagnostic, test and measurement tools

Works as described. The set in the form in which it was purchased is very convenient. It takes a bit of effort to connect the cables, write everything down, route the cables, then pick up the drive and repeat as necessary. But if you need to find the source of the noise, this really is the best way. The earcups fold out so you can hold an earbud to your ear and listen without wearing the earbuds. For those of you who are unsure about these things, I used to work as a mechanic at new carโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

  • Not bad
