This is the same yarn as Yarn Bee Melody Bulky!

Here's the TL;DR version: this yarn turns out to be the same as Yarn Bee Melody Bulky, which was formerly sold at Hobby Lobby but discontinued. Three years later, I bought two skeins and it was exactly the same color. One skein had no knots; one had two. The yarn frogs well and knits clearly and isn't splitty.Now for the story. I was contacted in April 2017 by a woman whose daughter had died in 2014 with a project still on the needles, a hat, and asked to finish the hat. I was assured there was

I purchased this to make a Christmas gift for my little girl, she is going to love the vibrant colors and the weight of the yarn will provide a very warm comforting feeling against her skin this winter!

Love this yarn best in my review

Love this yarn. Hobby Lobby used to carry it and no longer does, so I was happy that I could find it here and that I didn't have to worry about matching the dye lots due to the varigation of colorwork.

Scrap Yarn Buyer Beware

This isnt bulky yarn. It maybe takes a 8mm or smaller needle. Definitely not a 9 or 10mm. 1 skein had numerous knots. I'm ok with a couple but 4 crappy knots within a few feet of yarn?! The knots weren't the worst part, the undoing of the knots while knitting was the WORST! Its like I bought someone else's scraps.

Really nice yarn! for my opinion

I bought this for its color just to use for mittens and a matching hat. The yarn is firm, smooth and dense with no snags or knots, and as soft as cotton. I'd definitely buy this yarn again!

It does what it needs to do, but maybe not the best for beginners

I purchased two skeins of this yarn to make a scarf, and underestimated how much I would actually need for the scarf I wanted to make. In addition, the yarn came apart very easily at first so I needed to restart my project several times and eventually just trimmed off the problem area. In both skeins I used, strands of yarn were tied together in several places and I had to go back and reinforce those knots since the strand came apart as I knit and I was concerned that it would come apart again…
