Scottish Thistle Brooch with Sterling Silver and Green Stone - Scottish Pin Review

The only con would be the price is a little higher than other brooches, but it's worth it for the quality and unique design.

Bought for a theme (thistle - meant to be a gift to remind someone of Scotland). I was afraid it would be too small, but it actually isn't. The green rhinestone is not very bright but gives the piece a bit of an antique look. It has the correct pin so there is a hinge/latch to secure the pin which is good as the brooch is heavier than I expected. I think that's silver for you. The only thing I would like is to attach a pin to the jewelry box it comes in. Transit.
