My Favorite Knitting Book This Season

I rarely find a knitting book with more than one pattern that screams "knit me now!" I liked the stories about the athletes and I will do at least half of the drawings in this beautiful book, starting with the cover.

Pros
  • Great Product
Cons
  • New Competitors Arrived

It's like a story

I read this book and not just knitted it. It's like history! Wonderful people, patterns and stories about where each item came from and why it was created. I love it and have recommended it to many others who have bought it. Hard to find. If you find one, buy it, you won't regret it.

Pros
  • Doping ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Very expensive

Although I admittedly bought it for Marie Wallin's ribbed garter quilt pattern, I love all winter patterns and plan to knit a few of them: the Martin Story Slide sweater, the Scandinavian hat Sarah Hutton and Jeanne Giles' Kitten Mittens for starters. Although maybe I should start with Allison Judge Slippers?! This book is full of truly fantastic drawings that, while traditional, have just enough sparkle to make them unique. LOVE!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
