The Comica STM01 XLR microphone is very easy to set up and sounds great overall. It has a warm tone that's generally balanced and a solid body to keep the capsule tight. The included shock mount is premium quality and very large so keep that in mind. Despite pop protection, I prefer to use a foam screen for explosives. In the past I've used lavalier mics, pistol mics, and two "studio" mics. All of this had to do at least something in post, at least just noise reduction. This one is better than all my studio mics. Let me start by saying that the COMICA STM01 condenser microphone is a microphone WORKHORSE. As you can hear in my sample video, it has plenty of clear highs and plenty of lows without the shrillness of lower quality mics in the same price range.
