Stockings 🧦 I, Stoney Creek Collection Review

I like patterns. They're a bit difficult to understand. I think it's ok. I'll probably just use them as a starting point and improvise a bit.

I liked the patterns - I have chosen another book for stockings which I am working on but will most likely use some of these in the future as I expect they will be great - Added grandchildren to my family

My mother cross-stitched all of our family's Christmas stockings. Now, with a wave of grandchildren, she has run out of old cross stitch books. Finding aesthetic stitch patterns at a more advanced level was not easy. But they were great and my mom couldn't have asked for more for Christmas :)

Started sewing the next day after receipt! I make a Christmas sock for each grandchild. I'm always looking for a great looking Santa that the kids will recognize. And sometimes it's difficult to find a pattern that I like. This meets all the criteria I was looking for. Good Santa, easy to read directions, etc.

These are great socks but NOT for beginners. Mixed colors, more quarter stitches than full stitches, colors so close it's almost impossible to tell where you've been when you pause, lots of specialty stitches and a few stitches I've never heard of. but if i ever finish what i am working on (wildlife) it will look great.
