Works great!: my feedback

This is easy to install and take off when necessary. I use it for my dogs as they are always unlocking the seatbelt and trying to get in the front of the car. Not anymore. :)

Pros
  • Very effective in keeping my 11 year old autistic child in a seatbelt.
Cons
  • Adds an extra step when getting in and out of the car

Great for Keeping My Dog in the Back Seat

My dog has a habit of stepping on the seatbelt release and unbuckling herself in the car. This little cover does exactly what I needed in preventing her from stepping on the button and keeping her safely in the back seat. I will say that if she had opposable thumbs, she could slide this over the doggie seat belt we use for her, but that probably wouldn't be a problem with a regular seat belt.

Pros
  • It worked! My kid couldnt unbuckle it at all, hes very good at figure it out but this one he couldn't!
Cons
  • Makes it harder for parents to quickly release seat belts in emergency situations

Prevents unlatching!

Prevents unlatching! Exactly what we wanted it for. Only complaint is that it doesn’t stay on the buckle when not in use. But love it otherwise.

Pros
  • The BuckleShield is made from non-toxic materials that are safe for your child
Cons
  • Could increase frustration levels for children who have trouble buckling up
