I fell in love with razor shaving, but not with this particular razor.

I loved the shaver and wanted it to work. This one doesn't align or close properly, the edge touches the metal side when closed. Anxious, didn't feel safe. The shave was as good as I wanted. Amazing edge after a good edit. I felt this bold sense of antiquity. A dangerous razor is just a comfortable shave and not plastic. No more overpriced cartridges. Less annoying after I figure out what to do. But the washers that sit on the pivot that forms the hinge for the razor appear to move, and the…

everything is crooked

When closing, the blade hits the side of the handle as if everything is crooked. so much so that the metal part of the handle touches the blade

Sturdy, good quality, great price

Over the years I've found a few old straight razors at thrift stores and flea markets, but I've always wanted a new one that suits me. ready to walk all over my face. This one looked like a good buy and not so expensive that my disappointment had me sobbing into shaving cream. The blade feels good, the handle is much stronger than some vintage straight razors I own, and it's a nice weight. to this, and it holds a good edge. No complaints, satisfied.

Sharp as advertised.

Okay folks. I bought this shaver for one purpose only. I wanted something too boring to shave so I could work on my honing. Well, the manufacturer and seller put me in my place. This razor is sharp. I was able to shave with it instantly using just a quick drying sling. Being myself, I took a new shaving strap, soaked the linen part in TechDiamond 50,000 grit compound and started cleaning.
