It works well but it's curved so you have to press hard to straighten your hair. It also generates a lot of static electricity.

Great for straightening but not for the beachy waves I bought it for. I think for this I have to stick to the method of winding strands on the barrel of a curling iron.

My wife and daughter seem very happy with it. Both use it every day without complaining. I just wish it had some sort of auto shut off. Both left it on after use.
